Simultaneous translation equipment
Events which require interpreters to provide translations of presentations into another language “real time” for a part, or all, of the audience can be costly. Besides hiring the interpreters themselves, the hiring of traditional wired communication equipment and booths for the interpreters to sit in can quickly add up to a considerable amount of money.
Axitour systems can be used instead of the traditionally more often used wired interpreter communication equipment. Axitour systems have the advantage that if part of the presentation requires the audience to move (for example for a guided tour through a factory), that the translator can move with the group and continue to translate the spoken word.
Depending on the nature and setup of the event using an Axitour system can eleminate the need for having a booth in which the interpreter would normally sit altogether. With an Axitour system the interpreter can sit in the same room and speak with low voice, yet be heard clearly by the people receiving his or her spoken word.
